QUESTION:  What do I do if online incident reporting is not right for me?

ANSWER: If your incident is an emergency, call 911, otherwise call (972) 771-7724.

QUESTION:  What is physical evidence?

ANSWER: Physical evidence would include anything that was left behind by the suspect(s) who committed the crime. In addition, it would be a CLEAN, DRY, SMOOTH surface that the suspect(s) are believed to have touched.

 

QUESTION:  What if this happened in another city? Can I file a report using this online police citizen reporting system?

ANSWER: No. If a crime took place outside of the City Limits of Rockwall please call the police department for that city.


QUESTION:  What is a known suspect?

ANSWER: A known suspect is when you or someone else knows the identity of the suspect(s) or where to find the suspect(s) who committed the crime. This would include the license plate number of the vehicle the suspect(s) were in.
