Rockwall Police Summer Safety Camp

The Rockwall Police Department is excited to announce our 2023 Annual Police Summer Safety Camp. The police department will host this year’s Police Summer Safety Camp for incoming 4th, 5th and 6th graders that attend school in the Rockwall Independent School District. Each student must register using the online camp registration form. (Please Scan the below listed QR Code to be taken to the Registration Site).

The Police Summer Safety Camp will be held on the campus of Utley Middle School, which is located at 1201 T.L. Townsend, Rockwall, Texas 75087. The Police Summer Safety Camp will be taught by members of the Rockwall Police Department and each Safety Cadet will have the opportunity to learn about the Law Enforcement Career Field. Safety Cadets will have the opportunity to hear from members of the police department’s SWAT Team and tour the Rockwall Police Departments Armored Emergency SWAT Vehicle.

Safety Cadets will also participate in physical sports activities in the school gym. Please make sure your child dresses appropriately for moderate physical activity each day including closed-toe shoes.

Camp Information

The cost of our Summer Safety Camp is $5 per student.

If your child would like to participate in a Pizza party on Thursday, we ask for a donation of $5. The summer camp includes daily physical activity, attendees should be fit and healthy enough to participate. Attendees should wear clothing suitable for physical activity, including an obstacle course. Attendees who display discipline issues will be expelled from the camp and not allowed to continue to participate.
CAMP IS RESTRICTED TO ROCKWALL ISD STUDENTS ONLY.

Camp Location: Camp will be held at Utley Middle School, which is located at 1201 T.L. Townsend Rockwall, Texas 75087

STUDENTS CAN SIGN UP FOR ONE SLOT FOR THE SUMMER. STUDENTS MAY NOT SWITCH WEEKS OR SESSIONS AFTER INITIAL SIGNUP.
