There are several different incident types that can be entered using the internet. Please select one from the list below and continue. If the incident you are reporting has a known suspect, you should instead call us at (972) 771-7724.. Filing a false police report is a crime.
TYPE DEFINITION EXAMPLES
Someone uses your credit card, checks, or other personal information to obtain products or services. Please provide account/credit card numbers and specific information such as how much was charged and where charges occurred. Forged checks, charges on your credit/debit card, accounts opened in your name or use of social security number/date of birth without your permission.
Unwanted phone calls of an annoying, harassing or threatening nature. Immediate hang-ups, obscene language,etc. with no known suspects.
When property is missing or lost. Property that is missing, leaving items in restaurant, or missing from home.
Your property is taken without your permission. The total value of the property taken is less than $5,000 dollars, does not include a firearm or a vehicle and was not taken from a garage or shed. Property known to be stolen may be reported. Lost property is not a theft.
The act of changing, modifying, damaging or defacing public or private property. The total value of the damage is less than $5,000 dollars. This does not include graffiti offenses. Broken window(s), knocking over a mail box, flattened tires, etc.
The theft of any property from a motor vehicle whether locked or unlocked. The total value of the property taken is less than $1,500 dollars and does not include a firearm. This includes stolen auto accessories (installed stereo equipment, vehicle rims, license plate, etc...) as well as items from a vehicle (purse, iPod, backpacks, CD's, GPS units, etc...).
